“What’s the best way to thaw frozen meat or chicken?”
There are quite a few methods that people do to thaw their frozen food. Yes they all work in some sense but what is the best method. Well for one we HIGHLY do not recommend leaving the food out on the counter. This allows bacteria to grow and that is not good. You can, however, leave the food (wrapped in cellophane) in the fridge overnight. But if you are in a pinch for time, we suggest putting the frozen goods into a plastic baggie, sealing it up, removing the air, and submerging them into lukewarm (on the cold side) water. This method allows for a quick, even thaw that still doesn’t allow bacteria to grow.
